Steak Crostini with Horseradish Cream

What you'll need:
For Steak:
1 lb Ny strip steak
2 tbsp butter
3 smashed garlic cloves
2 sprigs of rosemary
salt & pepper
For Caramelized Onions:
2 yellow onions (sliced thinly)
salt
2 tbsp butter
water
Horseradish Cream:
1/2 cup sour cream. ( you can also do 1/4 cup of mayonnaise and 1/4 cup of sour cream)
2 tbsp or more of horseradish cream ( start off with 2 tbsp and add more if needed)
1 tsp of Worcestershire sauce
salt & pepper
garlic powder
onion powder
For crostini
1 baguette (thinly sliced)
olive oil
Other ingredients
fresh chives
Directions:
Preheat oven to 400.
Heat a large skillet over medium heat and melt 2 tbsp butter, When melted add the onions and season with a large pinch of salt.
Reduce heat to low and cook the onions slowly stirring occasionally. This takes about 30-45 minutes. If the onions start to stick or burn , you can add a little water.
Add all the ingredients for the horseradish cream to a bowl and mix well ( adjust seasonings if necessary.
Slice your baguette and drizzle a good amount of olive oil. Bake in the oven for about 4-5 mins or until crispy.
Slice your steak and season with salt and pepper.
Sear the steak in a hot oiled pan for about 3 mins per side (or cook it how you like. Im a medium well - well done girly)
The last minute of cooking the steak lower heat and add butter , rosemary and garlic. Baste the garlic over the steak. Let rest for 5 mins.
How to serve it:
Get a crostini , and add some of the horseradish cream, then the steak and carmelized onions and top with chives. ENJOY.
