French dip egg rolls

What you'll need:

makes 7-8 egg rolls

  • 1lb of shaved rib-eye steak

  • 1 yellow onion (sliced)

  • au jus packet

  • 1 tsp of balsalmic vinegar

  • swiss cheese (shredded)

  • chives for garnish

  • horseraddish cream

  • salt & pepper

  • vegetable oil


Directions:

  1. To a skillet on medium heat add a tbsp of butter, once melted add in the onions and a pinch of salt and balsamic vinegar. Saute for about 10mins stirring occasionly .

  2. Prepare the au jus according to directions on the packet.

  3. To a skillet add 1 tbsp of avocado oil on medium high heat, once heated add the ribeye and season with salt & pepper. and cook to your liking.

  4. Add water to the edges of you egg roll wrappers. Add swiss cheese, a nice heaping of the meat, and sauteed onions. Fold the bottom corner over the filling and fold over the left and right corners in and roll up. Seal with more water if needed.

  5. Fry in oil until golden brown. Top with horseradish cream and top with chives. Serve with au jus and more horsehadish cream for dipping. ENJOY!
