mini corn dogs

WHAT YOU'LL NEED:

wet ingredients:

  • 1 egg

  • 1 cup buttermilk

  • 2 tbsp vegetable oil

  • 2 tbsp organic raw honey

dry ingredients:

  • 1 cup corn meal

  • 1 cup flour

  • 2 tbsp sugar

  • 2 tsp baking powder

  • 1/4 tsp salt

other ingredients:

  • hot dogs

  • wooden skewers

  • vegetable oil


Directions:

  1. Cut your hot dogs in thirds , and make sure to pat dry the hot dogs ( that allows the batter to stick to the hot dog)

  2. Skewer the hot dogs.

  3. To a bowl mix all your wet ingredients.

  4. To a separate bowl mix all your dry ingredients

  5. Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients. Mix until well combined.

  6. Pour the batter into a tall glass and dip each hot dog into the batter. Making sure to fully coat the hot dog in the batter.

  7. Fry corn dogs at 375 for about 6 mins or until it's dark golden brown

  8. Serve with mustard and ketchup. ENJOY!
