Shrimp in a Garlic Butter Parmesan Cream Sauce

what you’ll need:

•1/2 lb of shrimp

•1/4 cup of red onions (chopped)

•4 tbsp butter + 2 tbsp cold cubed butter

•1/3 cup of chicken broth or white wine

•about 2/3-3/4 cup of heavy cream

•whole head of garlic (minced)

•splash of lemon juice

•1/4 -1/2 cups of parmigiano reggiano

•evoo (extra virgin olive oil)

•paprika , salt & pepper

•chives + tomato for topping (optional)

•ciabatta bread (optional)


Directions:

1. add about 1 tsp of oil to shrimp & season with paprika, salt & pepper.

2. Add evoo to a skillet on medium heat and add shrimp cook for 2 mins per side. Remove set aside .

3. Add butter to the same skillet and onions. Sauté for 2-3mins & add your garlic & sauté for about 1 min.

4. Add chicken broth or wine and let it reduce to half (about 3 mins)

5. Add heavy cream and whisk for 4-5 mins

6. Add parm, lemon juice, salt & pepper

7. Turn heat to low and add in cold cubed butter and mix constantly until it coats the back of your spoon and it’s a creamy sauce.

8. Add shrimp and chives let cook for about 1 min.

9. Serve with ciabatta or noodles & enjoy
