Toasted Marshmallow Syrup

What you'll need:

  • 2 cups mini marshmallows

  • 1 cup cane sugar

  • 1 cup water

  • 1 tsp vanilla bean paste or vanilla extract



Directions:

  1. Broil the marshmallows in the oven until toasted. Make sure to keep an eye on them cause they can burn really quickly ( it takes a couple minutes)

  2. In a saucepan over medium heat, combine sugar and water and stir until the sugar has dissolved.

  3. Add in your toasted marshmallows, stirring until the marshmallows have fully melted.

  4. Remove from heat and strain. Add in your vanilla extract or vanilla bean paste. Let cool completely.

  5. Store in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 2 weeks.
